How to create your Event?

Creating your own event is so simple. Once the app is installed, fill out your profile and tap on create an event. Fill in a name and that's it.

Install the App

Download the app for your device from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Setup your profile

Create your account as host of an event. Tap on "create event" and enter the name of your event.

Invite Guests

Guests join your event by scanning your event QR code or entering manually the event ID — that's it. Start sharing photos and videos!

One Button Menu

To make it as easy as possible, there is just one major red button in the middle to fan out buttons to upload photos, upload videos, see the event information and to access the event settings, either as host or as guest.

Download the app from your device App Store and start the app. If you want to host an event, you need to register with your email address.

The Event Photos App supports english, german and the danish language. More languages are on the way. Let us know what you need so we proitize it.

Yes. Just download the app and test it out. You can create up to 3 free events and up to 10 photos or videos to test out the app. If you want to upload more, sign up in the app for the Events Pro subscription to get unlimited uploads.

With the monthly or annual Events Pro Subscription you can upload unlimited photos and videos. We store your data as long as the subscription is active. Once the subscription ended, you have a 2 months grace period where we still store the data, but only the first 10 photos or videos are accessable. After the 2 months grace period your data is permanently deleted. But don't worry, we notifiy you upfront with an email, so you still have time to react.

Yes, the person that uploaded a photo or video has the option to delete the photo/video. Simply tap on the photo/video in the overview and then in the top right corner you find the bin icon. The event host has also the ability to delete photos/videos.

Currently a maximum of 10.000 guests can join an event. If you need more, talk to us. :)

Tap on the profile button in the middle of the bottom navigation and there you find your data.

We strictly adhere to the european GDPR laws and follow the data minimalism principle. A profile as host of an event needs the email address, and your first/last name - the latter more only to show on photos or videos the author with his or her name. You can even type in any name if you like. (but don't blame us if we send you an email with that first name ;)

We store all of our data in a secure and encrypted way in cloud datacenters in Germany and backups in Ireland.

Yes, if you delete your event, all of the data of the event is being erased. It is deleted in a way that even we cannot restore it anymore. So be sure if you delete an event that you really want to delete it.

Yes, until now only one by one. We're working on an export function to get a download link for all the files of an event.
